icp is Ian Cartwright Photography. Along with his creative team, he has been producing a selection of images for a variety of companies and for more than 35 years. This started in 1974 as Cartwright Studios Ltd, becoming a leading studio in Manchester, England. It was soon established as a leading, creative service within the industry. In 1992, a custom built studio was created, employing 55 plus personnel. In addition to a mail order background, moving on to advertising, retail and fashion was rapid. The new studio complex enabled the hosting of retail conferences for major retail clients.
In 2000, icp was established in Warrington, England, before relocating to Mannheim, Germany and primarily to service German high end, mail order sectors. This has been an ongoing success, securing a studio complex near Frankfurt, Germany.
From time to time, we are commissioned to undertake location work across Europe, producing a large variety of internal and external photography. There is vast experience in the mail order sectors, producing quality work, within tight schedules and budgets. The logistical operation is second to none. Fashion photography in the mail order and manufacturing industries has been of an exceptional standard, incorporating the children’s fashion market, of which many projects were produced in America.
